BAPT Madness Weekend: Saturday

Played 68 6-handed sit & goes on Betfair today. Winning 5-in-a-row would earn you a $8,000 Betfair Asian Poker Tour package to Singapore. Below is my performance after beginning the challenge:

DaMatrix Shed S&G Graph: Saturday

During my sit&go downswing I was also playing MTT satellites for the BAPT. I played 3 and here is how I got busted:

#1: Winner take all 31/105: AA v QQ v some other junk I think.
#2: Top 2 11/88: AK v JT
#3: Winner Take all 52/72: KK v AK V JJ

Bugsys Club September Skill League #1

Currently in 3rd position in this month's Skill League. Last month I finished second to collect a $1,800 bonus after a deal. This month the payout has been made flatter, so the top 3 payouts are:

1ST $3,500
2ND $2000
3RD $800

On another note, been getting a few hits on this blog by people searching for "Muppets Reloaded" on google! LOL

Betfair Asian Poker Tour $250+$20 Sat 2

Qualified for this again via a $18+$1.80 sat on Monday. Could I do better than last week?

Answer: No! A poor 20/60. I played quite bad; I didn't make some moves when I should have. The only time I got a walk in the big blind I had KK - it was that kind of night and in the end I made a move with J9 UTG and ran into AA.

Blonde Bash 3

Made my first visit to Walsall Casino for Blonde Poker's Blonde Bash 3. Didn't take my camera so no pictures I'm afraid.

The tournament was a £30 NL Double Chance with over 150 players and 3,000 starting chips with 30 minute levels. I began on actionjack's table, then got moved ironside's and then bullitpete's before finally, when down to the last 3 tables, matt674's table where he busted me with AJs against my T5s.

snatiramas won the tournament with matt674 finishing runner-up.

Mighty Indeed

Mightycricket scooped almost everything at Bugsy's Club in August, winning the $20k GTD Event, the $10k Skill League and the $3.5k MTT League.

The final stages of the Skill League were exciting as predicted. I swapped the lead with mightycricket several times during the day and at one checkpoint I was winning by just 0.01! I was ahead until the final couple of hours of my 20 hour session, after we had agreed a $1k saver to reduce what we were playing for from $4.2k to $2.2k. Shortly afte making the deal, I lost focus in one important tourney losing all my chips with QQ against mightycricket's AA. He went on to win the tourney to collect 15 valuable points but I lost 9 points in the same event meaning that mightycricket gained 24 points.

Post-deal, I made another mistake which made me finish 3/66 in another event. Winning that tourney would have given me first in the skill League. Dejected from these two final mistakes, I peter out of my last 2 events. Mightycricket though ended the month on a high winning the very last August skill tournament (to gain a further 19 points on me) and take his final ranking up to 1990.65, 29.02 ahead of me.

Final Results: Top 10

A bit of a disappointment then, I finished the month runner-up to mightycricket in both the Skill League and MTT League, winning $2,300. Mightycricket collected $5,000.

Congrats to mightycricket who I have to say deserved to win as he was the best tournament player throughout the month. Well played and thanks for the saver which I received already!

Didn't think you'd do a jojo45! ;)
