Prima Poker $1.2K WSOP Multi Event Final
The package is worth $134,000 and includes multiple buy-ins, travel, 60-nights accommodation in Las Vegas, Nevada (June 26th to August 10th 2006), and $3,500 in spending money.

I qualified for the $1,200 Grand Final by winning a Stan's Poker Freeroll GP, so I am now freerolling to become a poker legend ;)
Well, I played a mediocre game, got dealt mediocre cards and finished a mediocre 34/72.
brett_h limped UTG, I was short stacked and pushed all-in with AQ to increase my stack by 30% or hopefully double up against a pair if he called. He did limp in with a pair, unfortunately it was AA!
Oh well. Missed opportunity. After winning the first 2 pots and getting decent cards early on I knew the writting was on the wall. I got dealt J2 five times and saw enough other ducks that I am worried I caught bird flu.
In fact, that has been the theme of 2006 thus far: Ducks & Bullets (I keep getting deuces and get busted by AA)!
Final Result to follow:
I'm watching the 3-handed phase and brett_h has made it this far, along with derek7 and mahony (Andreas Hagen - who I've met at the VC Poker Cups & WHUPC 05).
He (brett_h) doesn't know though that by busting me he has effectively lost any chance of coming 1st.
Heads-up now. mahoney (157k) v brett_h (53k)
After AJ v AK chips = 110k v 105k-ish

At the Break: 109k v 106k
After the break, the key hand was TPTK v Gutshot str-8 flush draw on the flop. brett_h lost leaving himself crippled.
mahony won the very next hand and the $134,000 WSOP Package!
Congrats on a fantastic comeback from chip and a chair!

Final Result
It was a such a thrilling final table to watch that I missed the Absolute Poker Blogger Freeroll. Who cares? Getting bored of playing online since playing the JohnnyTexas Invitational. Infact, I had my biggest losing week online straight after but have since made it back. mahony doesn't have to worry between June 26th and August 10th! Good luck in Vegas!
Looking forward to the Betfair City Aces Grand Final in London on the 25th now, where I hope I won't run into Aces - although the name of the tournament might suggest otherwise...
