Prima $790 WSOP Qualifier

Fuct up in the Prima $790 WSOP qualifier. Had almost doubled my stack from the initial 3,000 starting chips when a couple of pots against JBeth976 took me right down to 2,500.

I then won AK v AQ to take me up to 4,200 and in 8th position 20-handed. From there, I changed gears and played more aggressive up to a point where I was in 2nd chip position.

Then, I lost JJ v KQ. K hitting the river for varene from Trondheim. That took me from 2nd to 8th/9 players remaining!

Managed to rebuild slowly but was not getting lucky at eliminating short stacks. Was back up to 2nd/8 remaining and giving 110%. Manouvered myself to 3-handed and then lost a critical race 66 v fishnutz' AK to finish in the bubble once again in a WSOP sat :( (I'd almost knocked out fishnutz 7 or 8-handed when my Q5s was ahead on the turn against his 88 - fishnutz (who played in the WSOP last year) hit the river for a str8 though!)

Another failure. If only the river had been kind I would have busted both varene & fishnutz. Instead I have to say congrats! lol.

WSOP Satellite Results

No luck there, but I managed to finish 2nd/41 in the Poker.com Blogger Poker Tour Event 6. That gives me a seat in the July 1st final where 50 players will battle for a WSOP seat.

Also, finished 5th/182 on Mansion Poker. 1st place was a Poker Dome Seat worth $7,000. Maybe I shouldn't have gone all-in UTG with A3s with an effective M of about 2. Loswages2 in the BB woke up with AQ and he then went on to win the seat. Also played the $145 Late Night Poker Ace II qualifier on Party Poker but lost a race early on against one of the many muppets in it.

All in all, a Negative-G day...
