Betfair City Aces Challenge 2006

The Betfair City Aces Challenge Grand Final was held in London today at the City Bunker, Canary Wharf. 50 players were invited to play for the following prizepool:

1st: WSOP seat ($15,000)
2nd: £1500
3rd: £800
4th: £400
5th: £200
6th: £100

Starting stacks where 5,000 with 20 minute blind levels. I was in seat 4 on my table with former England international Trevor Steven in seat 9 (he was busted before the first break with AQ v VeraPera's QQ). After the break, at the 300/600 level, I was knocked out after going all-in in mid position for just over 4k with A9 and getting called by the BB (who'd just been moved to my table) with KJ.
